Decopatch Pottery Decoration
An additional craft activity that we offer in our studio is Decopatch. Decopatch paper produces a smooth texture when applied to any kind of surface.
- Choose the item you wish to decorate from our extensive range.
- Choose your brushes, glue and paper, which is available in a range of colours and patterns.
- Tear your paper into small pieces.
- Apply glue to a small area of your piece and then apply small pieces of torn paper until your item is completely covered. We can provide any guidance you require with this technique.
Leave your item to dry for 15-30 minutes. Why not enjoy a drink and slice of homemade cake in our café whilst you wait?
How much does it cost?
We stock an extensive range of papier-mâché items which start from £2.50. In addition to the cost of your papier-mâché item we charge a studio fee of £3.50 per person which covers:
- Use of glue and brushes.
- Two designs of Decopatch paper.
- Instruction, guidance and assistance as required.

We have introduced a range of six small Decopatch animal craft kits to take away. The Decopatch animal craft kits make ideal gifts and are a brilliant introduction to the art of Decopatch. Each kit contains everything you need to complete a Decopatch animal.
